Here are some beautiful spaces from Decore to Adore all decorated in the 'British Colonial style' which is also called Plantation style. I love the mix of blue and red in the cushions in the last photo and isn't the back drop amazing!! I have been getting so much inspiration lately from my own home. I see the blue water of Moreton Bay everyday and I'm slowly using Carribean elements and some of the quirky elements found in British Colonial style to add the interesting layers and textures to give it a real plantation feel. Lots of palms and natural fibres and gorgeous linens.

I know I haven't hit the blog as much as I should have the last couple of weeks. I have sooo much to share! Judy and I have just come back from our last buying trip and I am staggering with the amount of gorgeous things I have bought for lily-g.

What an amazing time we had in Sydney...stayed at the divine and truly elegant observatory hotel and had the most yummy steak with to die for potatoes and "medicinal" lichee martini's at Mad Cow restaurant. Judy and I bunked in together and we were both so excited about all the unbelievable pieces we had seen....I think we must have used the word "Gorgeous" about a million times each!

Now all the hard work begins. In the next couple of weeks lily-g will be inundated with dozens and dozens of boxes and I will be like a big kid on Xmas day.

I am going to start the Garden room transformation soon and will shut it up while I create my meld of 'British colonial/plantation/Caribbean room' It is going to be stunning!!! I have always loved British Colonial style and whenever I've been to Singapore I always admired the open Portico's of Raffles with the lovely pristine white walls and all the lush green palms.

Anyway I'm going to have huge amount of fun and frustration trying to manoeuvre boxes, employees, kids and a partner while still trying to appear sane and on top of everything ha!!

Nougat Collection

This photo I'm in love with, how gorgeous is this look effortless chic, the blouse is dark grey in colour and the detail speaks for itself, available in all sizes. Looks great back with jeans!

A great dress for winter, can easily be dressed up for evening or create a more casual look with boots and tights

The top is great under knitwear and provides great layering for our climate, we have received lots of beautiful knits as part of this collection.

This dress we ordered in black with cream beading, the photo doesn't do it justice but all the detail has been hand beaded in cream tiny beads, great dress on for the size 12 or 14. 

Our New Citi collection

This top we purchased only in black and looks fantastic with slim fit pants or a tight fitted skirt, we have teamed it back with a fur cropped jacket and is displayed in our front window on our Mani! If you would like it in cream let me know and I can order it for you.

I have just ordered for our Fashion area lots of beautiful fashion books for the lover of fashion and shopping, but I can't wait to see our latest addition from author Jessica clayton who will tell all in her book where us girls need to shop in Paris and I'm talking the shops us girls will love to visit! I better start saving! 

Moss and Spy winter collection

The collection of Moss and Spy was the main inspiration behind re-doing the interiors of this seasons winter fashion. The model and the fashion of this amazing designer really knows how to show off her pieces in the Marie Antoinette inspired story of the season. I'm really excited that she will be a special guest to our store to launch the new range at Lily-g.
